Oribags idea was first conceived in mid 2007 when the Uganda Government announced a ban on the importation, sale, and use of plastic bags(Kaveera).Oribags idea matured in 2009 and a team came together to bring an innovation to the packaging Industry in Uganda.
Oribags Innovations Ltd recovers easily available agricultural waste(Bannana fibre,Cotton waste etc) and other waste materials in an eco-friendly manner to transform them into environmentally-friendly Products(Oribags) providing a new trend of innovative and eco-packaging solution. We recycle everything we can, including agricultural waste, waste paper and natural fibres. Our products include recycled boxes, recycled bags, gift packaging, stationary, handmade paper, etc.
